DOWN TOWN LA LIVE!!! was all business for the Hollywood stars at the 2016 48th annual Emmys Awards on Sunday night as one of the top HBO’s shows for years “Game of Thrones” and “Veep” was both winners for best drama and comedy.
it was lots of first-time winners “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.”
Sarah Paulson , and Sterling K. Brown Courtney B. Vance all had a great night with there first time Emmy victories. Rami Malek won his first Emmy for best actor in a drama, for his role as the tortured hacker in USA’s “Mr. Robot.” Tatiana Maslany won as best actress in a drama for her numerous performances in BBC America’s “Orphan Black,” Great job.Supporting actress in a limited series, movie or dramatic special: Regina King, “American Crime”
Kate McKinnon of “Saturday Night Live” got her first win as best supporting actress for comedy. congratulation go to a good friend to Backstage Access Magazine Mr. Louie Anderson won his first Emmy in the best supporting comedy category for his role as a suburban mother in FX’s “Baskets.”
it was many more winners throughout the evening as Jimmy Kimball keeps the crowd laughing and eating he did a great job as the host of the Awards Show.
